Well folks, it has finally happened! For the first time, scientists created a living organism from inanimate matter! They did this by creating a replica of DNA of the M. mycoides bacterium, and although they used a few small pieces of original DNA to act as 'watermarks'; this living organism contains almost all synthetic, man-made DNA, which was inserted into an emptied cell of the bacterium, and booted up. The cell has now multiplied to form over 1 Billion cells.
